There's no pavement here!
["There is small choice in rotten apples" and vaunted Ust-Tiyarm proved not much better than Anga, Harsk or Suiga. On the way to work one had to cross several rivulets typical for that region - swift and deep. Many of them freeze late but ice-holes remain. There is no trace of bridges, one has to cross over a log leaning on a pole. Crossing the river over the slippy log they carried poles with them. Sometimes all the poles are on one side. Try and cross without them!]
