<They separated families splitting off almost every man and some of the women.

Certainly it was a lie. But a brilliant lie. Everybody in elation rushed to the windows and chinks when our train passed a group of people marching under guard!>
"Our husbands! They are going to welcome us!" shouted the women crowding near the windows and looked hopefully at the clusters of men.
Alas! It was always a disappointment...
"It's probably oil rigs. They probable explore oil here," I thought. When time came I found out what those towers, huts and fences meant... But then I was miles from belief that slavery was possible in the 20th century. So why did I feel a tug at my heartstrings as if in apprehension?
