Galloping in the field... I don't know who is it? The horseman was the most accurate picture of oprichnik, a henchman of Tsar Ivan the Terrible. But instead of a dog's head and a broom a bundle of knapsacks was attached to his saddle. What's the matter? In what way those emaciated kids and elderly women gathering spikes have offended?
Those in the village explained,
«They give nothing for a workday. By gathering spikes it's possible to gather even ten kilos.»
«But the spikes will be lost anyway, won't they?»
«They will. But who will go to work if they are allowed to gather spikes? And probably they will leave spikes on purpose.»
