I stood like Lot's wife turned in a pillar of salt... I heard out a lot of explanations but haven't found any justification. They said, wheat having wintered in the field is harmful. It is, if not washed out of mould and dried. They said, it's necessary to clear a space for spring seeding. It is! But you could start tillage from stubble fields and giving that wheat out to people and using it for feed. They most often said, only hunger forces people to work. It's not just stupid, it's criminal. Unfortunately that was declared to be fundamental truth!
