Back in the day this lonely old man engaged in cabbing, carried bread and salted fish. He promised me there were schismatic priories in the pathless taiga and hermits would help me to get through taiga to Omsk making 800 miles rather than 2400 and escaping encounters with the NKVD. I was completely ignorant with regards of the Soviet reality. And you very much want to believe in what you want to believe! Thus I decided to yield to the old man's advice!
