A walk. It's 10 minutes of fresh air,of sun, of blue sky. It's so little! And such a treasure... Heintz couldn't walk but I couldn't look at her wistful eyes and make nothing of her plea. So I took her in my arms like a child and carried her from the dungeon. That became a custom, every day I carried her out and put near the wall, on the only spot where a ray of sun reached over the ten meter high brick wall of the exercise yard. Near the watch-box there was a clock carefully blocked from view by the door.
