[So, after breakfast I sit down at the pyrograph. My partner is old Fedya Balandin who came from the city of Tambov. His responsibility is to wind the wheel of fan blowing birch chocks that are used instead of coal. Our work's nature reminds of the Ancient Egypt. Balandin in some way looks like a camel turning a water wheel and I sit slumping in the clouds of acrid smoke and operate red-hot wallies.]
So Balandin and I made artworks in the poison-gas atmosphere. But I liked the work and worked without a let-up overbearing headache.
